Dear Gossip Squirrel, 
My roommate is a total meanie and I have no idea how to get out. I want to talk to her, but I feel like it’s gonna blow up fast. What do I do?

You don’t have to tell them you are leaving. You could just stay an extra day for break and move to a different room. I recommend you email residencelife@alma.edu or schedule a meeting with the housing staff.

Dear Gossip Squirrel, 
I am staying on campus for break and am really bummed about it. It’s better than going “home”, but I am going to be all lonely and there’s nothing to do. Any thoughts?

Dear Stayin,
There are lots more students staying on campus than you might think. There’s also community dinners happening and many community events you can participate in. I recommend looking at Facebook to see what’s going on. Maybe try to find some other students staying and plan to hang out?
